April 6: Meet a Designer Saturday, with Howard Supnik, RLA
Professional landscape designers can significantly enhance the appearance, function and value of an outdoor living project. In many cases, a modest investment in design with an experienced professional can produce results that far outweigh the cost.
Each Saturday this spring, we're inviting a local design professional to spend the day at Penn Stone and be available for local homeowners to ask questions or discuss a potential project.
On Saturday April 6 from 10am to 2pm we host Howard Supnik of Howard Jay Supnik Landscape Architect LLC. Howie is a Registered Landscape Architect who has designed amazing outdoor spaces throughout the region, starting with OLIN in Philadelphia and continuing as he's established his independent firm in Lancaster. His notable Lancaster design projects include Lime Spring Farm, where numerous landscape contractors collaborated on implementing Howie's vision for the property. He will be available to answer questions, look at photos, and offer his opinion on how you can begin the process of planning and designing a new outdoor living space.

April 20: Big Green Egg Grilling Demonstration
Join us on April 20 when John McGrann presents a demonstration of the Big Green Egg ceramic kamado grill. John's presentation will walk you through the simple starting procesdure, show you how to manage cooking temperatures, and discuss some of the tips and tricks to grilling successfully on the Big Green Egg. At the end of the demonstration you'll get to sample some delicious food hot off the Egg!
