Think Spring

The warm weather a few weeks ago got us in the mood for spring, but it seems like we're not out of the woods just yet. Still, exciting things are happening at Patio as we get ready for our upcoming season. Here are a few highlights...

Expanded seminars for 2010

This season we are planning a fun series of seminars on a variety of outdoor living topics, including outdoor cooking & grilling, composting, and rain barrel installation. These will all be in addition to our annual seminars on patio paver installation, retaining wall construction, and container gardening.

For our first seminar on February 18, Wilson Alvarez from Homegrown Edible Landscape Company will discuss square-foot vegetable gardening, a very accessible way to get started with vegetable gardening, especially in a small space. New products for 2010

We've been busy selecting new products for the upcoming season, and in the next few weeks we'll see the arrival of some great lines, including hand tools for the serious gardener, hammocks, exciting products for outdoor cooking and a US manufacturer of cast aluminum furniture. In addition to the new products at Patio, Penn Stone will feature an expanded selection of natural landscape stone and clay brick pavers. Stay tuned for more information in coming weeks.
