This week at Patio: Spring Home Show, environmental products

It looks like a gloomy weekend is in the forecast, so why not get a glimpse of spring at Patio? This week our final shipment of new furniture from OW Lee arrived, along with some great accessory and gift items. We also hosted over 40 people at our Square Foot Gardening seminar, and now we're looking forward to our EP Henry Paver Installation seminar on March 25.

Spring Home Show next weekend

Come out March 19-21 to see our exhibit at the Building Industry Association's Spring Home Show at Franklin & Marshall College. We occupy one of the largest displays at the show and will feature the best of Penn Stone and Patio, including natural flagstone from Rolling Rock Building Stone, concrete pavers from EP Henry, furniture from Brown Jordan and OW Lee, plus our debut of the Big Green Egg smoker & grill. We'll also showcase some of our most exciting new accessory and environmental products. This show is filled with other great exhibitors and is always an inspiring start to the spring. Visit Patio before the show for a buy-one-get-one-free admission coupon.

Preseason sale continues this weekend

From now until April 3 we're offering our annnual preseason furniture sale. Save 10% on Brown Jordan during their Factory Authorized Spring Sale, 15% on all other special-order furniture, and 15% to 40% on in-stock collections. And remember that on any furniture order, we always offer free delivery.

This week we'll shine a furniture spotlight on one of our new lines for 2010: Windham Castings. They produce some extremely well made and stylish cast aluminum furniture, and the best part is that they manufacture everything in the United States. We like the 'Who We Are' on their website, too. The collection above is their Metro Classic.

Buy tickets for Hearts in Harmony benefit concert at Patio

Patio is proud to be a partner in the Hearts in Harmony concert to benefit relief efforts in Haiti. This event is planned for April 2 at the Lancaster County Convention Center, and features a great lineup of bands including Slimfit and The Mint. Tickets are $10 and are available at Patio.

Featured environmental product: Brill Push Reel Mower

This year at Patio we've added a variety of environmentally friendly items as part of our garden lineup. One of these is the Brill Razorcut Push Reel mower. It has many cool features but our favorites are the light weight (17 lbs.) and the blades that last for 5-8 years without sharpening. It's especially well-suited to city homes and smaller properties, but pushes easily enough that it could be used on any lawn. The mower is $249, with an optional grasscatcher for $30.
