New for Fall 2012 is the Fire Pit Art line of designer outdoor firepits. The thirteen unique designs by Rick Wittrig are created using one-quarter inch thick steel and are are impressively sturdy for years of use. They have an iron oxide patina on the outside which will darken slightly with time before becoming permanent. Loferno: the best firepit we've ever seen
The best wood-burning firepit we've seen is the LoFerno. LoFerno's patent-pending fire tower design provides more warmth from the same amount of wood and an exciting visual display of flame dancing through the decorative openings. The patented fire tower section of the LoFerno fire pit is designed to hold wood upright, which makes for a cleaner burn and helps radiate more heat. The fire bowl and fire tower sections of your LoFerno fire pit are fabricated from 1/4 inch solid steel plate for maximum durability. The core of this product is the EcoSmart Fire line of burner units, ranging in size from the compact (10" diameter) AB3 to the impressive XL900 - 36" of linear flame! These burners are intended for built-in applications atop walls, columns or other landscape features.
EcoSmart Fire also features a stunning collection of designer outdoor fireplaces, along with fireplace grates and fireplace inserts. The entire EcoSmart Fire line is engineered to burn bioethanol, a clean-burning, renewable fuel.
