Gloster
Gloster started making furniture over fifty years ago in West Africa. From the start, Gloster was always both environmentally and ethically aware - using even the discarded branches and tree stumps, which would otherwise have been burnt, to make the smaller components.
In 1981, the Gloster brand was launched. From quite humble roots, Gloster was soon exporting furniture all around the world. After transferring their African factory's expertise to Asia to gain access to the plantation grown teak that was only available in Indonesia, Gloster grew to be the principal high end worldwide brand for teak outdoor furniture during the 80s and 90s.
Now, more than fifty years later, Gloster is among the worldwide leaders in teak, woven, aluminum, stainless steel and outdoor lounge furniture.
