Gloster started making teak furniture over fifty years ago in West Africa. An environmentally and ethically aware company, Gloster used even the discarded branches and tree stumps, which would otherwise have been burnt, to make the smaller components for for their pieces.
In 1981, the Gloster brand was launched in Bristol, England and Gloster transferred their African factory's expertise to Asia to gain access to the plantation grown teak that was only available in Indonesia. Soon Gloster was exporting furniture all around the globe..
Now, more than fifty years since their earliest days in Africa, Gloster is among the worldwide leaders in teak, woven, aluminum, stainless steel and outdoor lounge furniture.
Gloster has made over 10 million pieces of furniture and their furniture can be found in over 50 countries. Each piece has been carefully designed and expertly manufactured to bring long lasting pleasure and enjoyment to all that use it.Manufacturer Gallery Click an image to enlarge
